I am born in Southern California and raised in Southern and Northern California.  I’m proud to be a Californian!  I fell in love with surfing when I was 7 years old.  I have always felt a very strong passion and connection to the ocean and mother nature.  I love indosoles in that they are helping save tires from going to the landfill and therefore contribute to reducing our environmental footprint and they are so comfy and easy.  Footprint reducing shoes how funny… love it

I like to describe myself as a high energy personable and friendly surf addict with a passion for food, wine, and the environment.  I am a part time professional surfer.  I am full time professional fun.  I am a surf coach, event manager, and in charge of an organic olive oil company…I like to keep my professional life fun, diverse, and exciting, just like surfing.  When I’m not working I enjoy volunteering my time with local environmental groups like 5gyres, Sustainable Surf, and It’s About Sea Life.

When I was living in Mexico I taught my indigenous friends about the Great Pacific Trash Patch and explained that every single piece of plastic we stop from going to the ocean saves a fish or a turtle or a shark even.  We started picking up trash from the beach every evening and before we knew it all the kids on the block were helping and the beach 500 yards north and south of our area had not a piece of trash to be seen.  It was rad!  I hate seeing trash on the beach.  Hate it.  Respect the beach.

I look up to anyone who is lives life in passion in pursuit of dreams constantly challenging themselves and keeping a smile on their face through the journey!
